Meghan Higgins '21 Recruiting Profile

 I have played multiple sports since I was quite young. Soccer, Lacrosse. When I reached Middle School I opted to join our Field Hockey team. As a Sophomore we won County, Long Island Championships undefeated and made to State Semifinals. As a Junior we repeated the same, I made All County. As successful as we are in Field Hockey my #1 Sport is Lacrosse.  My dad was D-1 Player and Coached in College and HS levels as well as coaching  me and our Community Youth Program since 2nd grade. My brother plays college lacrosse as well. I have learned from the both of them about being a positive team member and leader. I have a great mentor in my coach Tina Moon, I have learned that working hard and team building makes us different from other Teams when we step on the field, we are coached to truly play as a team not as individuals.
