Vanessa Stevens '23 Recruiting Profile

I one day strive to be a member of a tight knit lacrosse program that will allow me to develop into a well rounded student-athlete.  I enjoy being a part of a team and building friendships for life.  I am loyal and fun-loving but thrive on the intensity and fierceness of a good practice or a close game.  I believe I'm a very versatile player,  primarily playing attack but can also be an asset at midfield.   As an attacker, I get as much joy out of assisting a teammate on a great goal, as I do scoring a goal myself.  The challenges that lie ahead both in the classroom and on the field excite me.  My self discipline and positive state of mind will help me achieve my goals.  Through my years of lacrosse experiences, it has become clear that trusting and committing to the process of self growth may have the biggest impact on the player/teammate I can become.
