When I was in middle school I played multiple sports (soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball). Although I didn't make the basketball team, I was the manager with my friend. Being the manager taught me many skills helping me learn the importance of sportsmanship and unity. I am grateful for my coach who taught me that as long as we work as a team nothing can bring us down. Once lacrosse season came I had decided to try something new and play. The first day I dropped the ball so many times I couldn't even count, but the next day I went back and tried again. After a year passed and high school lacrosse season came along I signed up and later became a starter for the Generals. Being on this team helped me realize that no matter what, we are always there for one another, having each other's back on and off the field. I'm truly grateful for my coach and friends who convinced me to start playing. Playing Lacrosse has made me realize that I could push myself more to do the very best that I can, fist overcoming the obstacle of not knowing how to play, then learning new skills and techniques with both my right and left hand. I'm determined, aggressive, and strive to be the best by being respectful to those around me, and listening without hesitation. My goal in high school is to graduate with the best grades I can possibly achieve and in college to do the same; being able to create a career with the knowledge I've learned.
