As the eldest of 3 girls, I have always aspired to be successful both on the field and in the classroom not only for myself but as a role model to my sisters. I am a highly motivated and dedicated team player. I am not often the “star” but I am always the one who plays hard and makes the right decisions on the field for my team’s success rather than my own individual accomplishment. That said, I am an extremely passionate player committed to long term success both as an athlete and a student. I envision my college experience to provide opportunities, challenges, and successes. A quality education is very important to me and I work extremely hard on my studies, something I strive to continue and maintain in my college years. I look forward to finding an ideal balance of an academic and athletic program that will test me and shape me into becoming a successful graduate. I believe strongly that honor and respect are key characteristics necessary for the success of a team. There can be the most accomplished athlete in the world on your team but without mutual respect there is never a true team success story. My leadership skills serve a purpose to unify and provide a strong sense of collegiality amongst my team members. As a three sport Varsity athlete in my freshman year of high school, I was able to quickly prove my allegiance and dedication to the senior players who rewarded me with reverence and friendship. I am fully aware that when I walk onto a field I am representing not only myself and my family but also the school and/or organization I am playing for. I am a diligent student athlete who promises full commitment and loyalty. I am confident that I will become a very strong link in the team chain for the university I commit to. Thank you for your consideration. |
