My name is Ella Suglia and I am from Cutchogue, New York. On and off the field I am very dedicated to my activites. At Mattituck High School I am a multi-sport athlete participating in varisty level volleyball, basketball and lacrosse as a sophmore in highschool. I am hardworking , dedicated, a leader and optimistic. In school I have been a high honor roll student since the start of my high school career as well as taking on multiple college level courses. I have also won the kindness award and was chosen to attend the Hoby leadership program.
Athletically, I am heavily relied on to be flexible in every position but I mostly play attack and midfield. I am goal- oriented and self motivated. Something that allows me to stand out is that for over a year now I have been going to the gym, weight lifting. I first started to just get stronger as a lacrosse player and athlete overall but I have grown into loving it and it is a consistant part of my life now. I started my lacrosse career as a kindergarter and have absolutely loved every second of it. Since fifth grade I have been on a travel lacrosse team and love extending my lacrosse season.
In addition to my sports participation and academic success I've also been active in many clubs. I have been in girl scouts for years earning my silver award, world language club, yearbook, the school paper(Mattitalk) and best buddies. I have also worked for the past two summers and have babysat during the school year. This past year I became certified as a lifeguard and will work at the local beaches this summer.
I have always planned to play lacrosse in college and can't wait to find the perfect school for my academic and athletic success.
