My mom always wanted me to play on a team sport since I've only ever swam my whole life. In 5th grade, I wasn't a very social person so she had to bribe me to go. I didn't know that my mom pushing me would change my whole world. I quickly picked up the skills of catching, passing and sprinting up and down the field. A few years later in 8th grade, my coach put me on defense and I truly enjoyed it. I later started working with the high school coach on defense drills and footwork. I became more social with my team mates and becoming a leader. I made sure I put in the work, I still know that I have a long way to go, with lacrosse and my academics. I'm striving to achieve a 4.5 for the following years and to be ambidextrous in lacrosse. I'm looking for a program that will challenge me in every way possible, through lacrosse and academics. I believe that with the right fit I can make myself better and the girls working around be better.
