Update.. With a Covid season cut short I still managed to be the longest TJ 3A in NC, 3rd in 100M hurdles in the state (first time ever doing it), 3rd 400M with our Relay team. I focused this off season on strength training and have jumped TJ 37'6" in practice and still improving. And LJ at just over 17'. Still a ways to go but every year I have increased distance by a couple ft. With a college room, specific event coaches and training regimen I know Ican increase far more. My commitment to Track and school is 100%. I want to find a coastal college on the east coast that can help me grow as a student athlete.
I am interested in studying Business, finance as well as different criminal fields. Though I have not committed to an exact major, I am committed to track while I figure the rest out in college. I know over the course of my last year in HS I will be working my hardest to improve both in track and field and academically. My sophomore year I broke our 43 year old HS Triple Jump Record with a 34'8" jump at Regionals. I have since been jumping in the 37' range this offseason. This will be my 2nd year training all year round and 4th year total jumping. I seek improvement each day and feel as though I am highly competitive and very coachable. I promise if you consider me I will give you my all on and off the field of competition. I will come in with an open mind so I can improve, a team first mindset and a strong work ethic.
Thank you.

Update
Unofficially during this off-season practices I have jumped 37'6" Triple and 17'3" Long.
My hope is to continue improving and to officially get these Mark's or higher this season. My focus is always to improve and have done so each year. Still a long ways to go but I will get there.
