I am strong, independent, and self-motivated to work hard to achieve my personal, academic, and athletic goals. I love being a lacrosse goalie. I enjoy playing lacrosse so much that I played on the inaugural 2022 men's varsity high school lacrosse team to stay in the game. This required perseverance and grit in order to grow as a part of our newly formed team, and I will bring those same skills to succeed on a college women’s lacrosse team.
In addition to playing lacrosse, I am a certified lifeguard and I work as a beauty consultant for a local business. As a lifeguard, I lead and redirect swimmers to ensure their safety. At the local business, I regularly operated the store independently without other staff on-site, and my responsibilities have included serving customers, preparing products and shipments, and training new employees to perform work activities. I also enjoy dance and theatre, which is helpful for maintaining a focused mindset and being the player that my team needs me to be.
My career aspirations focus on helping people through medical and food science. To reach this goal, I push myself as a student to grow as much as possible. As a freshman and sophomore, I challenged myself by taking honors-level English, history, math, and science classes. As a rising junior, I am taking college-level courses through the summer and the academic year.
I appreciate all the experiences that have made me who I am, through sports, academics, work, and arts. I am excited to direct my love for lacrosse and my strong academic achievements to succeed in college and beyond.
