Hi! My name is Kate. I am a junior at Wakeland High School in Frisco, TX. I am a midfielder on varsity for Frisco Fury and 214 Lacrosse. I have loved lacrosse since I was eight years old and will continue until I graduate college.
I am a desirable teammate on and off the field. I always keep my head up for the open pass ahead of me; I respond to any situation because my strategic thinking helps me generate solutions with ease. I celebrate everyone's accomplishments, big or small, and maintain high energy on the sideline no matter the score. I am very coachable and take every opportunity to grow as a person and player when facing a challenge. This past spring, I was awarded Varsity Rookie of the Year for Frisco Fury. I am the flexible, reliable teammate you need for your program.
Academic success is critical. I plan to maintain my 4.0 GPA throughout high school while still improving my weighted 4.568 GPA. I always take the time to study because I desire to be successful.
Outside of lacrosse, I have a part-time job. I have been an officer in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Wakeland for three years. I am in the National Honors Society and National Technical Honors Society due to my academic and extracurricular programs. I am also involved in an organization called National Charity League, which is a 6-year mother-daughter program. The program develops skills necessary to become a leader while giving back to the community.
