Sunday Race at Sa...Personal Statement
I joined crew after being cut from the volleyball team freshman year. This turned out to be a fortuitous situation because I fell in love with rowing. Crew provides me with countless challenges and pushes me to be a more compassionate teammate. In my first two seasons, crew has become a major part of my life, and has offered me countless opportunities to grow as a student athlete.
I look forward to finding a college that will not only challenge my athletic and academic interest but help me to grow as a person. I hope to find a college where I can offer my competitive drive and team oriented personality.
