I began rowing in my freshman year of high school at Blessed Trinity. Right from the start, I knew that I wanted to continue rowing throughout university. Both inside and outside of practice I am a positive and encouraging team leader, who understands the importance of hard work, dedication, and time management. Along with rowing, I have also been a competitive figure skater both individually and on Nexxice for the past 12 years. In school, I work hard in all my classes, alongside my training, to achieve good marks in my classes. I have also been taking extra-credit courses outside of school hours. I have experience volunteering at sports youth camps, coaching skating, and fund raisers among other things. I want to attend a university where I am challenged both in rowing and academically. I am open to all universities, and wish to find a school with a competitive rowing program which I can be competitive in.
