Soccer has been a way for me to have a healthy mental and physical outlet as it allowed me to cope with the challenges at home. I'd like to continue playing soccer throughout my college career. I'm a dedicated and committed player and coach. I constantly show up for my team. Because soccer has always been my outlet, I like to give back to it by helping where I can.
I was recruited to help coach the youth teams and am often called upon when my team or coach needs help. I also regularly play for teams above my age group when they need the support. I want to be apart of my team's successes and will gladly cheer them on from the sidelines if there is a reason I'm not on the field with them, wanting to support my team whenever and wherever I can. My commitment and skill earned me the title as co captain of my high school team.
I have prioritized my academics throughout high school because I know how important work ethic is when it comes to achieving good grades. I look forward to continuing my academic journey in college and look forward to what that brings.
I like giving back to the soccer community because of what they gave me. I've had some difficulties in my childhood, my dad was sick and my mother was absent. For most of my life my dad battled cancer until he passed away in 2022, my soccer community really stepped up and helped me through that challenge. I am forever grateful for the friendships, skills, and lessons that soccer gives me.
