Kiersten Girard '20 Recruiting Profile

I grew up as the daughter of a professional athlete. From a young age I was taught to approach each situation with passion, effort and determination.  I am an independent learner in both my academic and athletic life.  I have been playing sports since I was four years old.  Starting my athletic journey with a combination of gymnastics and soccer,  I eventually committed my time to soccer, due to my love of the game.  Since I first stepped on the field, I have aspired to be the best and play at the collegiate level. On my teams,  I currently play centre back, full back and centre midfield.  I can use both feet to control the ball at an equal level and have great field awareness and speed.  I am extremely confident in my ability and can be described as a versatile player. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and consider myself to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you will find.
