Taylor Haun '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Taylor and my love for soccer is more than a hobby. I have been pushing my soccer skills since I was just three years old. Throughout my soccer journey I have been a part of many clubs and teams. In my very early years of the sport I played for mid state in Decatur IL. I played a few years in ODP (olympic development program).  In my most recent years I've played for CIU (Central Illinois United) and my high school team at Metamora Township High school. This year, 2023 we won regional's and I was a starter on varsity for this team throughout all of my high school career. I play holding mid for the majority of my years in soccer. Yet I have the knowledge to play anywhere that is needed. I am best at holding mid because I am good at reading the field and knowing what's right at the right times. I am always wanting to improve and won't take losing for an answer. As a player I can take well rounded criticism and use it to improve. I am excited to keep growing in my soccer skills  while making my school proud.
