When I was three years old, my parents signed me up for an introductory sports class. They saw my love for them and dedicated their time to helping me become a good athlete. They have been there and supported me with my sports ambitions every step of the way. For 13 years they drove me to practice, games and clinics. I am grateful for everything they have done for me. This gave me such a strong relationship with both of them. My parents have always been supportive of me and taught me how to be a good athlete and a good person simultaneously, which has made me into the person I am today. After completing the introductory sports class I became interested in soccer. To help me explore my new found interest my parents signed me up for a soccer camp. The camp gave me a better introduction to to the sport and I have loved it and have been playing it ever since.
Playing soccer has made me realize that I am a very hard worker and am also very competitive. I am constantly trying to do my absolute best. I am always trying to rise to a higher level of play so I can also become a better player in exchange. I have also realized that after playing so many sports, that I am very coachable and believe that is one of my biggest strengths. I am always interested in what my coaches have to say in order to improve my level of play. My goal for high school is to graduate with a cumulative GPA over 4.0 and be as involved as I possibly can with athletics and academic clubs and activities while taking challenging courses. My goals for college are to maintain exceptional grades in my classes throughout the four year commitment. I would like to accomplish a stellar college GPA while balancing other exciting and challenging activities that I choose to undertake.
My freshman year of high school, in one of my Varsity soccer games, I suffered a Grade 2 sprain of my MCL and a Grade 3 sprain of my ACL. This obstacle challenged me to work extremely hard in physical therapy to get back to playing the sport I love as quickly as possible. This led to a full recovery and me playing club season and the next high school season feeling better than ever. One unique skill I posses that is extremely helpful in my game is my speed. As a forward, being fast is is a great quality to have and leads me to scoring many goals and setting up many plays.
