Hi, my name is Madison Isaacs. I play center back for my club team, Maryland United ECNL 2006, and outside back for my high school team, Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, MD. I have been playing soccer since I was 7 years old, but the first sport I participated in was figure skating. I enjoyed figure skating and was pretty good at it – I won first place in several competitions and passed the on-ice test to enter the US Figure Skating Program. When I started playing soccer, the travel demands of soccer and figure skating became too much for my parents, so I decided to stick with soccer.
In general, I am a quiet and reserved person. If I am scared or excited, I tend not to show it, but that does not mean that I do not care, because I do. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my friends, talking with my cousins, and playing with my dog. I have been playing the saxophone since fourth grade and am currently a member of the Wind Ensemble in my high school. I plan to study either Neuroscience or Biology as an undergraduate and attend medical school after that. Thank you for taking time to read my personal statement.
