Soccer has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Soccer has not only provided so much joy in my life, it has taught me many life skills such as perseverance, work ethic, teamwork, and leadership. It has also provided me opportunities to travel the country and build lifelong friendships along the way. Soccer has also opened many doors for me that would not have been possible otherwise, such as going to a highly competitive and expensive preparatory school for high school. Where I have been able to play the game I love at a high level with some of my best friends.
I hope to continue to play at a competitive level in college. As a player, I am aggressive, hard-working, technically skilled, and composed. Tactically, I am very versatile, although I play mainly as an attacking midfielder or wide forward. I am always looking for the pass to set up my teammates on the field. I was told by a previous coach that I bring a certain camaraderie among my teammates on and off the field. An other strength of mine is that I am really fast and have endurance, so I can attack to score and also get back in time to defend. I am also coachable, which is a strength of mine as well, I never take criticism personally. I use all feedback from teammates and coaches as a tool to improve.
I am a dedicated and hardworking student who values excellence in academics. Currently, I attend The Governor's Academy, a rigorous prep school in Byfield, MA, where I challenge myself with advanced courses and enjoy the process of learning. The school's demanding academic environment is an ideal fit for me, and I aspire to attend a college that offers the same level of rigor and opportunity for growth.
Combining who I am as a person with my athletic ability and academic success I believe I would be a great fit to many soccer programs out there. Hopefully you will feel the same way and ask me to be part of your program.
