Juliette Poulin '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, my name is Juliette Poulin, and I am a freshman at Needham High School, graduating in 2028. Soccer has been a passion of mine since I started playing at the age of four, and it continues to be one of the most important parts of my life. After moving from Canada to Boston in August 2023, I joined IFA New England 2010 Girls, where I have been fortunate to develop under the guidance of experienced coaches, including Meotis Erikson, who played collegiate soccer and inspired me to pursue the same path. I primarily play as a goalkeeper, a position I am deeply passionate about, but I am also a versatile player who plays center back and left outside back. My left-footed play offers unique advantages, especially when building from the back to create opportunities for my team. I’ve often been called up to play for older teams, including the IFA New England 2009 and 2008 Girls, where I’ve gained valuable experience competing at higher levels. On the field, I pride myself on being calm under pressure, communicating proactively to organize my team, and taking on challenging situations with confidence. Beyond soccer, my academic life is equally important to me. I work hard to maintain good grades while excelling in an honors and accelerated course load, including Accelerated Math, Biology, and English. I approach my studies with the same focus and dedication that I bring to soccer, always striving to improve and stay on top of my work. While I’m still exploring potential career paths, my interests include architecture, biomedical engineering, psychology, and economics. With my leadership skills, work ethic, and commitment to excellence both on and off the field, I am confident that I can contribute positively to your team. I look forward to continuing to develop as a player, student, and individual while pursuing my dream of playing collegiate soccer.
