Saige Wimes '22 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer when I was five years old in my neighborhood soccer league, as a forward. What I loved about soccer then still energizes me today: the pure joy of working with my team to keep possession of the ball and ultimately scoring goals!

Along the way, I have developed my technical skills and finishing abilities as well as moving on and off the ball and making runs to confuse the defenders. I am currently playing one year up with a new DA team, which is helping me to increase the intensity of my game.

I am a two sport athlete who has constantly juggled sports with high academic achievement. I am determined, tenacious, and passionate about excelling on and off the field. I want to play for a college program that allows me to excel both academically and athletically.
