My name is Ainsley Westlake, and I have been playing soccer for as longs as I can remember. Since I was little it has been a dream and goal of mine to play collegiate soccer. I understand this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, that I am prepared to take full advantage, and responsibility of. I believe my hard work ethic, will help to prepare me for the best college experience.
I am a goalkeeper and have been since I was about 7 years old. My ability to communicate has been very helpful especially on the field. By being able to communicate I not only run a successful defensive line, but also have built many key relationships in my life. I believe my ability to communicate, as well as my hard work ethic, is what makes me such a great leader and role model on and off the field. I love to seek advice from many different types of coaches in order to grow and become a stronger athlete. This skill has lead me to become a very coachable athlete.
I attend Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School, which has been a nationally ranked school. I have been at Cottonwood since 6th grade and have always had a 3.80 or higher Gpa. I take higher-level classes in order to graduate with a International Baccalaureate diploma. I currently volunteer at the local animal shelter at least once a month, and am an active member in my community by refereeing small sided games about once a week, (during season).
I am looking to go to college at the best-fit school for me. Ideally I would really enjoy a team that not only works as hard as they can on and off the field, but also has a very strong chemistry and bond. In order to find my dream school I am willing to look all over the United States, to find the best suited school for me. I know that collegiate soccer is very competitive, and I am prepared for this challenge in order to make my dreams come true.
