Personal Statement

My name is Jacquie Nickerson.  I have been playing soccer since I was able to walk.  My big sister was a star soccer player at our school and she had me out in our back yard kicking the ball around with her as soon as I could run without toppling over.  We had so much fun together, I knew this was going to be the sport that would steal my heart.   AND STEAL IT AWAY IT DID!!!!   I am that player who will do anything it takes to play soccer.  I will play any position coach needs me, whether it is my strongest or weakest position. I will give it all I got.  I enjoyed this last season as sweeper, it gave me the opportunity to show my leadership skills.  I like to help other players get better with their skills as well as helping myself grow with my own skills.  There is always something new to learn and skills to strengthen. I was a 13 year All Star Cheerleader.  I competed at levels as high as level 5.  I also play softball in the spring,  while playing spring soccer.   I am looking to attend college to become a Police Officer/Detective.  My grades are very good.  I hold a 95% GPA.  I would like to find a college that I will fit in with my career goals and my soccer goals. I want to take my soccer skills to the highest level possible.  I want to play this game for as long as I can, God willing,

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
