Personal Statement

My name is Madison Luke. (Maddie) I am the oldest of five siblings. It has been my goal to play soccer in college and potentially beyond college since I can remember. I am a definite student of the game and not only play as much as I can, I also watch as much soccer as I can. I am self motivated and work as hard as I can at both practice and games as well as academics. I am constantly reevaluating myself and what I can incorporate to my game to make myself better as a player. I am the same way when it comes to academics. I don't accept being less then my best in either academics or athletics. If there is something I need to work on I will find the appropriate educator or coach to help me one on one. Some people take me as very serious when they first see me play (and I am) but I also have been told that I am very fun to train and work with. I also love to bond with my team and make memories both on and off the field. My coach and my team look at me as a play maker as I am constantly evaluating what is going on around me and what my next move should be. I would play a soccer game everyday if I could and no matter what is going on in my life when I step on the pitch I am ready to give my all and make sure I come off at the end leaving all I could on that field.
