Hi my name is Rowan McWhinnie. I have been playing soccer for 11 years and am now a senior at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry NY, where I have been a varsity starter since freshman year. I joined Eastern Soccer Club 2 years ago, just in time for covid, and I'm enjoying the opportunity to play soccer year round and looking forward to getting back into real soccer matches.  

I enjoy being part of a team and working with others in a competitive environment. As captain of the Eastern Soccer Hurricanes 04s, I try to set an example for my teammates and I am continually working to improve my skill set and leadership skills. 

While soccer is my passion, I've also enjoyed fencing on The Masters School team, playing field hockey, and am an active skier. 

I am hoping for soccer to be a big part of my college experience and am committed to working hard and being a good team player if given the opportunity.
