I love the sport of soccer . Something about the competitiveness- being part of a team and still being able to contribute as much of your own personal talent as possible. I try to stand out because I am always looking to improve . I want to be faster, stronger, and overall better than I was in the last game. Something I can pride myself in is being coachable. I love to be able to fix things in my play to assist my team and myself. I've been lucky enough to play on a Travel/Premier team called the Red Hook vortex from 2011-2019 with such great team chemistry and talent that got us very far in each of our seasons. With that team in the summer of 2018 we traveled to play in the Donostia Cup in San Sebastian, Spain where we got to see so many different styles and levels of the game we love.
I run winter and spring track at my high school as well where I am one of the team captains. I'm a sprinter, running everything from the 100 to the 400 hurdles. Being able to train my sprinting mechanics and technique really helps my game, speed has always been my number 1 asset on the field. I also love to workout, not only is it helpful to each sport but it has become a major hobby of mine!
My mom, dad, and stepdad are such a strong asset to where I've come athletically and academically. My mom is a high school principal with a background in track and field who always pushes and coaches me to my limits in everything I do. My father is a lawyer with his own practice who played college football as well as basketball at SUNY Stonybrook. Having a strong athletic and academic family pushes me to be the best I can be in and out of school.
In a year and a half, I hope to continue my athletic career at a college that is the perfect fit for me and ha a great program in Marine Science, animal science, or Pre-Vet as a major/minor.
