Mackenzie Roth '23 Recruiting Profile

     I found my passion for the game of soccer through my dedication and drive to achieve the goals that I set for myself over the years.  Ever since I was younger, I have devoted myself to being diligent, and committed both on and off the soccer field.  Academics are just as important to me as athletics. Every day, in every class I enroll in, I study, fail, and learn from my mistakes to become the best version of myself that I can be. I've used to hate to fail and always strived to be perfect, but I've learned first hand, that in order to grow and mature, one must figure out how to push through failure in order to finally achieve success. This life lesson is extremely valuable both on and off the playing field.  Something that is just as important as learning from mistakes is leadership and sportsman-like conduct. Both are just as significant for not only success in academics and athletics, but are necessary character traits for life. To accomplish my future endeavors,  it will take hard work, dedication, and discipline. I am committed to put forth the work and effort required to achieve and shape myself as a better student-athlete and an all-around person.
