"Belle" Savannah Brenneman '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Belle Savannah Brenneman and I am a 2022 GK/AM player from Charlotte NC. 

I have played soccer since I was 3. I have played every position over the years as I play where my team needs me. I am at my best in the middle from GK to CB and CM. I have been playing as a central midfielder for the last 3 years. I play in the attacking or holding position based on what the team needs. In my 2019 club season in our first game I was playing holding midfielder. About 17 minutes into that game our GK went down with a career ending concussion. I was the only most qualified player with GK experience on the team and I stepped up to play in goal for what we thought would be a few games. As it turned out it was the entire season. I love playing in goal and I love playing in the field. I play my best where my team needs me. For the 2020 season we started off with a full time GK. But before the playing season started she unfortunately left the team. We again did not have a full time GK. I again find myself splitting time between the field and GK as we use a loaner GK from another team when she was available. I have been asked many times whether I am a GK or a field player. I always respond that I am a player that plays where I can do the best for my team. I have the ability to be a great GK or field player. I train hard at both. My former coach always refers to me as the "Queen of the Intangibles" because I just make things happen. I love this game and I know I can be successful at the next level.
