I became interested in soccer at the age of 7 after attending one of my cousin‘s game. At that time, I had no prior knowledge of the sport, but it was intriguing to see the competitiveness of the game. After that visit, I knew it was something I wanted to pursue. Soccer has taught me a lot about myself. On and off the field, I am a hard worker, something I have learned about myself. When I fail at something, I do not let it stop me from achieving my goal, whether it is athletically or academically. I consider myself an introvert; however, soccer allows me to be free, be myself and showcase my leadership skills.
The experiences I have gained from playing soccer have also assisted me in my veterinary internship, which I attend on weekends. Beyond my academic and athletic skills, I possess great listening, teamwork, and attention to detail skills. I believe with my work ethic, dedication, and love for the sport; I will be a great teammate and asset to your program.
