Tori Monaco '22 Recruiting Profile

Something I think that sets me apart from other players is just my passion and love for the game of soccer. I didn't start playing as young as a lot of players did. I played rec soccer until I was about twelve or thirteen years old. I didn't start on the best team, have a lot of raw skill, and I wasn't ever the best player, but I always wanted to be as good as my teammates were and be better. I've had amazing coaches throughout my club years and with their help and continuous work I've been a starter on varsity all three years of high school, competed in NC and SC ODP, played in regional USYS competitions with club, and won a State Cup Championship. Every day I work to be better in soccer or in life and I believe this mindset will help me to get where I want to be. My goal is to play on a high-level college team and working to become a journalist. I may not have the number of years behind me as a lot of players do, but my pure love and passion for the game drives me to my dreams.
