Grace Garraghty '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Grace Garraghty, a 2023 midfielder on the 03/04 Charlotte Independence Lake Norman Blue and Select team playing in the Premier division. My strengths as a player are distribution, build up of plays, breaking up play, versatility, and coachability. My main starting position is center defensive midfield, but I am versatile and will play anywhere needed. I also play center attacking midfield and a little bit of center back. I attend Cox Mill High School in North Carolina where our team won the 3A State Championship against Chapel Hill High School. As a sophomore, I started and played every minute of our playoff run and scored 1 goal and had two assists as a defensive player. Academically, I have a 4.28 GPA and take all honors and two AP classes. I've made all A's since freshman year. I want to major in exercise science and I am interested in physical therapy as a career after college.
