Over the past four years, my soccer coach gradually transitioned me up the field from sweeper to striker. I gained confidence in every position that I played, and I was named 1st team all-conference after my freshman year. Currently, I alternate between the starting attacking midfielder and striker on my varsity high school and DPL club teams. I am comfortable playing anywhere in the midfield, and also on the left or right wing. My style of play is fast but calm. I would be a great asset to a team because of my ability to fill many roles on the field, my positive attitude, and my leadership. I was voted captain of my DPL team in summer of 2020, and captain of my varsity high school team in spring of 2021, and I am excited to continue to be an active leader throughout my journey as a player.
I am looking to play soccer at a small or medium-sized, academically strong school. Challenging myself as a student and as an athlete is incredibly important to me. I have a weighted GPA of 4.39, scored a 33 on the ACT, a 1440 on the SAT, and will have completed eight AP/IB courses by the time I graduate.
Thank you for considering me for your program!
