Although I have been a three-sport student athlete since middle school, my focus and goal of being a college goalkeeper is rather recent. For the first time, I played on a club soccer team this fall (Wake FC) and I love the challenge that comes with being a goalkeeper playing against tough competition. As a sophomore (2021) and junior (2022), I was named my high school’s Team MVP as well as First Team All-Conference. I also attended Coach Tracy Noonan’s Dynasty Goalkeeping camp this past July, which further fueled my desire to be a college goalkeeper.
I would describe my goalkeeping traits as fearless and aggressive with quick reflexes. I am also highly motivated to follow the paths set by other family members who are/were college student athletes (Sister – D2 basketball, Mom – D1 cheerleading, Dad – D1 and professional baseball, Aunt – D1 basketball, and Cousin – D2 and NAIA basketball).
I am a serious and hard-working student and while I do not know exactly what I want to study, at this point, I think Business is probably a good fit. In my spare time, I enjoy photography, designing clothes (1970’s anyone?), sewing, and baking. I would prefer a medium-sized college that is committed to academics as well as committed to its women’s soccer program. Finding the right fit for me is most important, so I want to consider all college levels.
