The last eight years of my life playing soccer has taught me many important skills for both the field and life itself. There are things that I have learned about myself, my skills, my strength, my weaknesses, and how much determination I give. Being a defender, I’ve learned the importance of teamwork and how it’s the team that makes the winning game. I carry an understanding that I may not score goals, but I still get the same happiness watching my teammates score as I do protecting my goal. I believe that my biggest strength when it comes to soccer is my ability to read a play before it is executed, and my willingness to never give up. I’m looking for a school that will push me to my fullest potential in soccer and in my education. It would be a great pleasure to play the sport I have grown to love while I continue my learning in Criminal Justice.
