My name is Lillian Jones and I am currently entering my junior year at Highland High School in Sparta. I will graduate in 2027 and I hope to play soccer in college. Soccer has been my passion since I was young, and I want to continue that throughout my life. I love how it allows me to set and reach goals, push myself, connect with others, lead, and just overall play the game I love.
I currently play club soccer on Polaris SC 08G Navy in Westerville, OH, under the coaching of Brandon Koons. In the fall, I play on the Highland women’s varsity team, where I have been a starter since freshman year. On the field, I excel at setting up plays with extremely accurate passing, delivering shots from outside the box, breaking lines of defense with dribbling, and providing defensive cover with strong tackles. I try to lead by example on and off the field and work extremely hard for myself and my teammates.
Academically, I maintain straight A’s, while taking advanced placement and CCP classes to prepare for a career in the medical field. As the oldest of five children, I cherish values like loyalty, hard work, and teamwork. My younger siblings also push my extremely competitive spirit.
I hope to use collegiate soccer as a tool to get the most out of my education and to help reach my future career goals. I am enthusiastic about contributing to a program and eager to further develop both as a player and as a person.
