Sarah Bacanin '22 Recruiting Profile

I am always the first to training and the last to leave.  Not only do I want to create relationships and a sense of family with my teammates and coaches, but I strive for the unmatched feeling of competing in women's soccer.   I value academics greatly and prioritize it, as well as honing my soccer and leadership skills on and off the field.  My dedication and determined work ethic makes me very eager to learn and practice skills.  My goal is to motivate and push my teammates and myself to be the best we can be.  I am not shy and will speak up and ask questions because I believe that communication is key on and off the field.  Being able to challenge myself academically, while having the opportunity to play the game I love at a high level is truly an aspiration of mine.  I work until I cannot work any more, giving everything I have and then some.  Being able to lift up my teammates and kill it on the field and in training is something I cannot wait to do.
