Hello Coaches
My name is Ava Little and I am currently a Junior (2023) at Wakeland high school. I play club for DKSC 05 Weir. I've played multiple positions between high school and club soccer but I am most comfortable as the number 9 and have been playing that position for 10 years now. My team lost last year in the Dallas Cup, but this year we have won the Lake Highlands Classic League, FDL, Frontier Conference, and most recently the National League Pro going undefeated for the year. We secured an automatic bid to Nationals in July.
I played High School soccer my Freshman and Sophomore years on the JV team. I was the leading scorer both years on undefeated teams. I was awarded player of the year on the JV team my Sophomore year. Below are my stats from those two years.
Freshman year- 26 goals and 12 assists- confirmed by Coach Lankford/ Medlen
Sophomore year- 22 goals and 13 assists- confirmed by Coach Lankford/ Medlen
I pride myself on my speed up top as well as my aggressive play. I've been told I have a natural nose for the goal. My dream has always been to play at the collegiate level and I'm working hard with private sessions on areas that I need to improve. I'm a glue type of person as a teammate and love to make the people around me smile!
