I live in a small town south of San Antonio, Texas. The school I attend is a small collegiate 1A high school which doesn’t have a soccer team. Ever since I was in junior high, I have been traveling 3 hours round trip to San Antonio, TX to play club soccer. This required me to go to practice two to three days out of the week. In addition to playing club soccer, I also play high school and club basketball with the San Antonio DC Queens. I will also be graduating from Southwest Texas Junior College with an Associates Degree in Science and Arts. I consider myself to have a strong work ethic having to do my homework on the road and being able to maintain a 3.8 GPA. As of now I currently have about 300 hours of volunteer work with the Humane Society and Dreamwalkers Equine Therapy.
I’m the captain of my teams and I think my strength as an athlete is that you must always have a positive attitude no matter the situation. Encouraging my teammates whether we are winning or losing on the field.
