My name is Mariana De La Fuente, and I’m a Class of 2028 soccer player. I primarily play center defensive mid and center back, but I’m a versatile athlete who can adapt to any position as needed. I was a varsity starter as a freshman and earned Honorable Mention All-District honors. I’m known for being a hardworking, positive leader who always puts the team first.
Soccer has been a huge part of my life since I was eight years old. I was introduced to the game by my dad, and it quickly became something I love deeply. It brings me peace, joy, and a sense of purpose every time I step on the field.
Academically, I’m an all-A student with interest in history, and I plan to pursue a degree in law, criminal justice, or business. I currently serve as student council president and also manage the middle school girls’ soccer team, which has strengthened my leadership and communication skills.
Im looking for a college program where I can continue to grow as both an athlete and a student, contribute to a strong team culture, and make a positive impact on and off the field.
