Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Hannah Rodts. Before I can even remember, I have always been involved in sports. Soccer was my main sport up until I was about 9 years old. At that time, I was also doing swimming lessons with Canadian Red Cross and my mom thought I should join the city club. I was reluctant at first, but once I started going to more and more practices, I knew I wanted to keep swimming. To this day, I have been a part of the Prince George Barracudas Swim Club and I could not imagine myself doing any other sport.
I am currently a grade 12 student at Duchess Park Secondary School. I am in the French Immersion program, meaning I have been learning material in French and speaking French since kindergarten. I have gotten Principal's List Achievement every year since grade 8 and I have maintained straights A's as well. My strengths are math and science classes. I took Biology 11 in grade 10 and Anatomy and Physiology 12 in grade 11. I am also currently taking AP Calculus.
