It took a lot of tries for me to figure out what sport I would want to play in my future, but once I started swimming, I never stopped. For the next ten years, swimming has been a very big part of my life -- it helped me push myself, it brought me great friends and it shaped me into the person I am today. Swimming has always been exciting to me even after so long. Going to swim meets, cheering on friends, and pushing myself to be the best I can be is what makes it all worth it. It takes a lot of commitment and discipline. This is what I am looking for in a school. A place where I can push myself with the support of other athletes and coaches, a place where I don't have to worry about my "off meets", and a place that feels more like a family than just a team.
Even though swimming is very important to me, so is school. I am looking for a program that is not only a good fit for me in swimming but a good fit for me academically. Not to mention, a program where I feel connected. I look forward to college, and I look forward to finding the perfect college for me.
