Anine van den Heever '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi there, I’m Anine. Ever since I was little I have always loved swimming and being in the water. I started competitive swimming with Manta Swim Club for 8 years now. I have been part of Manta Swim Club for my entire swim career and I have learned what it takes to be a strong leader as well as the importance of team spirit. Swimming has taught me patience, perseverance, discipline and many other life long lessons that will stick with me for the rest of my life. I love competing and facing new challenges. I am a very well rounded athlete but tend to excel at mid-distance freestyle. Throughout my swimming career I qualified and competed at several national (Canadian) competitions, and I was also part of the Manitoba Team in the Western Canada Games.

As well as being a dedicated swimmer I am a hard worker both in and out of the pool. I attend Linden Christian School and am graduating in the year 2023. Currently I’m an honour roll with great distinction student.
