Mary-Cameron Brazel '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mary-Cameron (Cami), Brazel. I am in top 20% of my class with a strong drive to succeed at everything I do. Swimming has been my passion since I was 6 years old.  Soon after my first dive, I knew I had discovered my passion. My dream has always been to swim at the collegiate level and be part of a team, contributing to the good of a group and create lifelong friendships. Swimming has taught me discipline, hard work, resilience, and time management skills that have been essential in helping me balance Advanced Placement/ Honors courses, swim, bible study every morning before school, and extracurricular activities.  My dedicated participation has helped me learn to be a leader as well as how to take a setback in training and turn it around to make me a stronger athlete and person.  I believe the best is yet to come and I look forward to hearing from you and being able to continue my journey as a swimmer.
