My collegiate goals are that I hope to make nationals in Irvine, California and be a strong member of my team. I am very supportive of my team mates and hard-working and determined with my coaches. I know what it takes to be the best and be healthy at the same time. The 100 and 200 backstroke are my events. Outside of the pool, I have learned to manage my time with homework and my friends and I know when I should be in the pool. More importantly, I have learned that being the best doesn't always mean you have the best character and I value character overall. Being able to believe in myself and to trust the training I have gone through are crucial when it comes to race day and over the past 4 1/2 years of swimming, I understand how to apply this where it really matters: in the water.
