Madison Gordon '21 Recruiting Profile

I started playing school and club volleyball in 8th grade. During my 2018 high school season, I was awarded with All-League,All-Conference, All-Section, and All-State 6th team.  During my varsity season, I played all six rotations as a middle blocker. Since the libero never subbed in for me, I played in the left back, and really was able to improve on my defensive and serve-receive skills. This is one of the reasons I know that Libero/DS would be a good fit. I’m a very hardworking and positive athlete who creates goals for myself and works hard to achieve them. I am always tough mentally and shake off my mistakes.  Having a positive mindset as an individual and a teammate is just important as the skills on the court. In addition to that, I always strive to get better and learn more from my teammates.
