Gabrielle Janeski '25 Recruiting Profile

                  My name is Gabrielle Janeski, I am currently a junior in high school and I hope to achieve my dream of swimming at a collegiate level. I started competitively at the age of 6, and have never stopped since then. I dedicate my time to my academic and athletic commitments. I swim for my high school varsity team, as well as a local club team year round. I always strive to do my best no matter what the situation entails. I am very hardworking and believe I am a good leader, as I held the position as captain for my varsity team. I hold a 4.0 GPA, and I am currently looking to getting into Education as my major. I am involved in school clubs like Multicultural Club, Student Council, and National Honor Society. My high school career has taught me many things, but being in the sport of swimming has taught me the most. Growing up swimming I learned what it is like to be a team player, but also strive individually. I have a team first mindset and believe this mindset is how I grew to have such close friends on my swim team. Most importantly swimming has taught me what it feels like to be a part of a great community and home. I look to my teammates and coaches if I ever need encouragement or assistance, and I know they would look to me in the same light. Continuing swimming in college has been a dream of mine since I was little, and I am determined to make it happen.
