My name is Karolina Dazycki. I have been swimming since I was 4 years old and my goal whenever I stepped into the pool was always to improve my technique, my times, and my future goals. Swimming has gave me so many opportunities, like traveling to different states for national competitions. I have always attempted to improve things that always push me back, whenever I am at a competition. Whenever I’m having trouble in swimming, I always like to look at the other swimmers on my team or Olympic swimmers on my tv and look at there techniques and try to apply it to my strokes. Of course there are some days where I have ruff practices and I’m having trouble improving myself, but that always makes me come back to the next practice way more motivated. Since I can ever remember, I have always been competive and I always found it a positive thing. I think I can be a good candidate for a future college swim team because whenever I get into a pool I am highly focused, competitive, and sometimes a little tensed up. But I always try to look past my obstacles and focus on the one thing I love, swimming.
