Swimming has always been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I used to tell myself that I did not want to swim in college, but as I have reached my junior year in high school I realized I cannot function without this sport. I absolutely love this sport and everything it has taught me. I love the feeling when my body is screaming at me, telling me to stop in practice, because I know that is what success feels like. Swimming has taught me that success is not easy, but if you really want it, nothing will stop you from succeeding. My grades reflect my hard work in the pool, and it has also taught me good time management skills, which is essential. I want to study sports medicine in college and then become a physical therapist to help athletes bounce back from injuries.
