September 2019Personal Statement
I have been competitively swimming since I was 3 and ever since I can remember I’ve always loved it. I’m always ready to swim and try my hardest. If I fall behind, I will push myself harder and do my best to keep up. I am also capable of balancing practice and school work I keep my grades up at all times and have never made it below a B. I am supportive and cheer on my teammates in every race I can make it to. In my Sophomore year halfway through my season, I did tear my shoulder labrum but have been able to recover and bounce back with only a few minor setbacks. I work hard every day to try and keep a positive attitude and continue to get faster and stronger.
