Alexandra Linden '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Alex Linden.  I live in Friendswood, Texas and swim for the Friendswood High School Team as well as the local club team, Aquastar Swim Club.  I have been competitively swimming since the age of nine and hold many of my club team's mid-distance and distance records.  I also seasonally compete in local open water swims that range from distances of two miles to 5k.  I have also recently competed in a multi port race-Aquathlon, placing first overall.  I maintain a 3.9 GPA and most enjoy classes that challenge me in the STEM fields and I am in advanced French studies, a subject I have been studying since first grade.  One of my strengths as an athlete is my ability to visualize each swim and then analyze my performance after each event.  I am able to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each swim, along with feedback from my coaches, I strive to improve my future performances.  I believe that I would be a great addition to a college swim program that I can contribute as a mid-distance/distance swimmer and leader.
