My whole life I have been seen as an enthusiastic human being, I have been told my smile is warming, and electrifies a room. My goal when being on a team is to add the positive attitude to the group. I want the team I am on to be collaborative, an open connection, a place where the members can feel comfortable. My goal is to be a motivator, give people the confidence they need to do their best. Aside from my personality, my mentality is strong. I am a very ambitious person, who strives to compete and do better than my previous outcomes, it is a way to satisfy myself. Academic wise I am currently in a place where I am pleased with myself. I always think there is room for improvement, and so far in my sophomore year I have seen much of it, especially from my freshman year. I am more determined, and I take things more seriously. I am striving to be the better academic I know I can be. My strong suit when it comes to academics is in the STEM category. I have taken the pre-ACT and was in the 96 percentile for mathematics, 94 percentile for science, and 95 for STEM. Moving away from the discussion of my academics, would include a discussion of my hobbies. Not including my passion for tennis, is my love for music and community service. I have been playing the piano for the past eight years, I lost my love for piano probably two years back, yet regained it again once someone told me how much they enjoy listening to the music I have created. I participate in the Royal Conservatory exams to improve my technical and sight skills of piano and I also play in community concerts. Currently I am in the process of creating my own recital for a senior center. I decided to create my own organized group of performances because I strive to see smiles on other people's faces. For community service I have been spending my hours in the same place for the past two summers, I have gotten over 200 hours of service at the Recreation Department because I feel passionate about working with kids. I am in the state of mind now where I intended to be a pediatrician or a nurse practitioner. I find the energy from kids to be contagious, and their laughter to be so enjoyable. Similar to when I perform music for the elders, I find when I can put a smile on other person's face to be so amazing.
