I am a college bound junior (Class of 2025) varsity tennis player at Allen High School, in Allen, TX, the largest high school in the state. (My high school class has approximately 1,600 students in it.) As a young child, I played soccer, basketball, and was a competitive gymnast for seven years. I was a State Champion in Bars as an 8 year old. I began playing tennis when I was 9 years old. I have a huge heart and desire to compete and win... at everything! My first year of varsity tennis at AHS, I started as a freshman. In singles, I played Lines1-6 throughout the Fall 2021 season, with a record of 20-2. As a freshman starter, I was awarded the 2021-2022 Newcomer of the Year Award (given by my coach) and the 2021-2022 Eagle Heart Award (voted on by my teammates). Wherever my coach places me, I give it my all and my very best effort. My sophomore year, I played line 1-3 in singles and lines 1-2 in doubles, depending on our opponent. In Team Tennis, my team ended the year, 24-2 and were Regional Finalists in Class 6A, and ended up #5 in the state. Outside of tennis, I am involved in WINGS, (We Inspire the Next Generation), which is an elite student leadership program where we mentor freshmen students at our freshmen school. I will also be taking my first college class at Collin College during my junior year at AHS.
My dream is to play college tennis with teammates and a coach who loves to compete as much as I do. I will make a positive contribution to my future team with my fun-loving personality, leadership skills on and off the court, and a fierce attitude to win. As a student athlete, I am also committed to my success in the classroom. I am looking for a team that is united like family, and has a big team bond. I know my high school coach, Coach Quest, will be a huge advocate for me and completely supports my desire to play college tennis. Please feel free to contact him to learn more about me as a student athlete. Until I walk on a college campus as a student, I am a dedicated high school athlete who will keep my focus on my skills and development to become a future college tennis player.
